I have always felt connected to poetry, writing verses since I was young and attending poetry nights at the Afrikan Poetry Theatre in Queens. Through my journey, I’ve shared my own work and performed at open nights, drawing inspiration from the world around me. I enjoy exploring different voices and stories through poetry, and I’m excited to be part of a community that’s passionate about writing and connecting with others through the power of words.
